How to use Approvers in Dext Prepare

In, you can appoint specific staff members to approve different bills and items.

Dext Prepare pulls these across from when integrated, and populates them under ‘Customers’ in the list section of the menu (if you’ve enabled as an additional integration, hover over the clip icon next to the customer name to see whether the customer/approver is linked to or if it’s a customer only present in the main integration).

To assign a specific approver in Dext Prepare:

1. Navigate to a specific bill in the Costs Inbox;
2. Search for the correct approver from the ‘Customer’ field;

(Note that this is the initial approver and will not trigger any workflows)

3. If happy with the item, click ‘Publish’ as normal;
4. In, the bill will appear as normal, flagged with the specified approver.
If you have additional integrations enabled, make sure you have selected as the publishing location.
