Using Locations in Dext Prepare

Using Locations, you’ll be able to filter insights reports by a location. This is helpful for practices who have teams in multiple locations. 

Note: This is available for Partners on the Practice Advanced plan.


Locations 

You can create a location by: 

  1. Navigating to My Team and then Locations.
  2. Enter the name of the location. 
  3. Click Create

To add a colleague to a location: 

  1. Navigating to MyTeam and then Colleagues.
  2. For the colleague you’d like to add a location to, select Manage and then Edit User Details. 
  3. Under the Practice Location, select a location from the dropdown list and click Save.

Note: A colleague can only be added to one location. 

To delete a location: 

  1. Navigating to MyTeam and then Locations.
  2. Click the red ‘X’ next to the location you’d like to delete. 
  3. Confirm you’d like to delete the location by clicking Proceed

Note: You can also bulk delete locations by selecting the locations you’d like to delete using the checkbox, and then clicking Delete selected


Filtering using Insights

To filter by a team or location: 

  1. Navigate to Dashboard and then Practice Insights
  2. Click the Filter button and select the Locations you’d like to see from the dropdown menus. 
  3. Click Apply
