New Precision Sidebar Changes

On December 13, 2023 we are releasing a new navigation sidebar for Precision.

All your functionality will remain the same. We have just renamed a few features to make them more relatable and redirected some features under new headings to simplifying the layout. Below is a quick overview on what you can expect with the changes. First let’s take a look at the changes to Team Home.

6 STEPS

1. Under Team Home we have made changes to Focus.

This area is now known as Workflows

2. Our first change is for Focus. This is now known as Workflows

All functionality remains the same.

3. Next change under Team Home is Practice Analysis

This is now known as Practice Dashboards

4. All dashboards remain the same in this section except we have relocated Focus Dashboard to this section and it is now known as Workflows Dashboard

Workflows Dashboard is where you can manage all your team’s Workflows status

5. NEW – We have created a new dashboard for all your customised/saved dashboards

This used to be called Custom Reports

This is now known as Custom Dashboards

Summary of changes under Team Home

  • Focus – now known as Workflows
  • Practice Analysis – now known as Practice Dashboards
  • Focus Dashboard – moved from Focus area down to Practice Dashboards and name changed to Workflows Dashboard
  • New Dashboard – Custom Dashboards – formerly Custom Reports

Client Overview Navigation

There are several changes under Client’s Overview pages.

Clean Up

Insights changed to Business Insights

We decided to change Insights to Business Insights and then remove some of the features into new sections in the sidebar. We have kept the following features under Business Insights.

  • Aged Balances
  • Activity Stats
  • Performance Benchmarking
  • Cost Analysis
  • Sales Analysis
  • Moved Business Performance from Resilience (section removed) and renamed to Metrics

We have also created some new sections in the sidebar for some features under the old Insights. They are as follows:

New Section – Historical Activity

Moved Historical Changes & Lock Date History out of the ‘old’ Insights to a new section in the sidebar called Historical Activity.

Fixed Assets & Control Accounts

Moved Fixed Assets & Control Accounts out of ‘old’ Insights to sit under the Cleanup section.

Corporation Tax has moved to a new section on the sidebar called Tax. This section also includes VAT Return Checks – which has moved from Checks and a new check insight Entertainment Accounts.

VAT (UK) & GST (AUS) Return Checks and ABN Validation (AUS) now sits under Tax. Health Check has been removed and no longer available as you can use Workflows to check on Health.

Sandbox and Reports has been grouped into a new section called Custom Reports
