You can deactivate a Dext Solo client if you wish to remove them from your Dext Solo account.
Deactivating a Solo client means you will still be able to access their account from your ‘Deactivated
clients’ tab, however documents you add to this account won’t be extracted. The client will still be able to log in to their account and view their documents, however if they add any new documents they will not be extracted.

Deactivating a Solo Client
To Deactivate a client:
- Go to your Solo Clients list in the sidebar.
- On the client list, click Manage next to the client you wish to deactivate, then in the drop down list click Deactivate client.
- Review the implication of deactivating a client, and when ready click Next.
- Select the user in the client account that will become the account owner and admin user. When ready click Confirm.
The client will now appear in the ‘Deactivated clients’ tab.
Reactivating a Solo Client
Reactivating a client will reactivate all their associated businesses. You can deactivate individual businesses from the client’s businesses page.
- Within the ‘Deactivated Clients’ tab on the Solo client list page click Reactivate next to the deactivated client.
- Confirm you wish to reactivate the client by clicking the Reactivate button.
The client will now appear within the ‘Active Clients’ tab.
Deactivating a Solo Business
To deactivate a business:
- Go to your Solo Clients list in the sidebar.
- Click on the client’s name to view their businesses.
- Next to the business you wish to deactivate click the Manage button, then Deactivate business.
- Review the implications of deactivating the business, then click Next.
- Select the user in the client account that will become the account owner and admin user. When ready click Confirm.
The business will now appear in the ‘Deactivated businesses’ tab.
Reactivating a Business
To reactivate a business:
- Within the ‘Deactivated businesses’ tab in the client’s list of businesses click Reactivate next to the deactivated business.
The business will now appear in the ‘Active businesses’ tab.
