Account code ‘###’ has been archived or has been deleted. Each line item must reference a valid account.

Not to worry – This error means that the Category you selected has been archived in Xero.

You can simply reload the list and choose an active one.

To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Categories section of the Lists menu.
  2. Then click on the Reload button at the top of the list.

If you’d still like to use this particular Category, then you will need to swap to Xero, navigate to your Chart of accounts and unarchive the nominal code in question.
