Vault in the Dext mobile app lets you upload, organise and manage documents from your phone. Open it from the Vault tab, then upload files with + Add files. You can also view folders, tag and flag files, copy files to Costs or Sales, and move items from Costs or Sales to Vault.
Important: Some Vault features are only available in the Dext web app. For the full version, go to Using Vault in Dext
Open Vault in the Dext mobile app
To open Vault in the Dext mobile app, go to the Vault tab in the bottom bar.
If you use Dext Solo, go to More and tap Vault under Do more with Dext.
The top of the screen shows the folder you're in. Tap the folder path to go back up a level. Use the Search box to find a file.
View folders, files and items to review
To change what Vault shows, tap … at the top of the Vault screen. The menu has 3 views:
Folders: your files organised in folders
Files: every uploaded file in one list
Review: flagged files, including files Dext flagged because of their due date
You can also switch between List and Grid from this menu. To create a folder, tap …, then New Folder.
Each row shows the name, who submitted the file and the date. Tags show on the row, and a flagged file has a flag.

Frequently asked questions
These are the most common questions about Vault in the Dext mobile app.
Where's Vault in the Dext mobile app?
Vault is a tab in the bottom bar. If you use Dext Solo, go to More and tap Vault under Do more with Dext.
Why can't I copy a file to Costs or Sales?
Copy to Costs and Copy to Sales only work for supported file types. If you see "The file type is not supported for copying to Costs or Sales", the file can't be copied, but it stays in Vault.
Why does Review show fewer files than I expected?
The Review view only shows flagged files. These are files you flagged and files Dext flagged because of their due date. To see every file, switch to Files.
