How to move items between workspaces in Dext

Move costs and sales items to a different workspace in Dext using the Move to menu in your inbox or item details page.

You can move costs and sales items to a different workspace in Dext using the Move to menu. Moving an item moves it from its current workspace to the destination workspace.


Move a costs item

To move a costs item, you can use either the inbox or the item details page.

From the inbox:

  1. Select the checkbox next to the item.

  2. Select Move to and choose a destination: Sales, Supplier statements, or Vault.

From the item details page:

  1. Open the item.

  2. Select Move to at the top of the page and choose a destination.

Note: Moving a costs item to Supplier statements incurs supplier statement extraction charges. See Reconcile supplier statements in Dext.


Move a sales item

To move a sales item, you can use either the inbox or the item details page.

From the inbox:

  1. Select the checkbox next to the item.

  2. Select Move to and choose a destination: Costs or Vault.

From the item details page:

  1. Open the item.

  2. Select Move to at the top of the page and choose a destination.
