You can link your Intuit account to Dext to enable single sign-on (SSO). Once connected, you can log in using your Intuit (QuickBooks Online) credentials instead of a separate Dext password.

Important: Your Dext account must already be integrated with QuickBooks Online before you can enable Intuit SSO.

Connect your Intuit account to Dext

To enable Intuit single sign-on:

  1. In Dext, select your Profile icon (top right).

  2. Open the Security tab.

  3. In the Single Sign-On section, select Connect next to Intuit.

If you are already signed in to QuickBooks Online, the connection will complete automatically.

If you are not signed in, you will be redirected to the QuickBooks Online login page.

After signing in, you’ll return to Dext and see a red Disconnect button, confirming that the connection is active.

Log in using Intuit SSO

Once connected:

On web

  1. Go to the Dext login page.

  2. Select Single Sign-On with Intuit.

  3. Log in using your Intuit credentials.

Error: “Sign in with Intuit”

If you see an error when selecting Sign in with Intuit, it usually means Intuit SSO has not been connected in your Dext account.

To fix this:

  1. Log in to Dext using your regular email and password.

  2. Go to User settings > Security.

  3. Select Connect in the Single Sign-On section.

Once connected, you can log in using either:

  • Your Dext credentials

  • Your Intuit credentials
