You can link your Intuit account with your Dext account to enable single sign-on (SSO). Once set up, you can log into Dext using your Intuit credentials without needing to keep track of multiple passwords.
Note: Your Dext account must be integrated with QuickBooks Online before setting up Intuit SSO.
Linking Your Intuit Account SSO to Your Dext Account
To connect your Intuit account SSO to Dext:
In your Dext account, go to the profile icon in the top right of the screen, then click User Settings.
2. Then, go to the SINGLE SIGN ON section and click Connect.
3. If you are already signed into your Quickbooks Online account the connection will be made, and when complete a red Disconnect button will show.
If you are not already signed into Quickbooks Online, you will be redirected to the QuickBooks Online login page. Once logged in from there you will also see the red Disconnect button to signal that the connection is made.
Note: The SINGLE SIGN ON section will not be visible until your account is integrated with Quickbooks Online.
Error Message: Sign in with Intuit
If you see an error when using the Sign in with Intuit button, it means SSO hasn’t been set up in your Dext account yet.
To resolve this:
Sign into Dext with your standard login
Follow the steps in the section above to enable SSO
Once setup is complete, you can log in using either Dext or Intuit credentials.
Logging into Dext with Intuit SSO
After connecting your Intuit account:
Visit the Dext login page or open the Dext mobile app
Select Sign in with Intuit on web, or tap the Intuit logo on mobile
This gives you direct access via your Intuit login.
