The Senta integration lets you pull Health Scores from Data Health & Insights into Senta Practice Management Software. Once connected, Dext sends each matched client's Health Score to Senta nightly, where it's visible in each client's Xero tab and can be used in custom views, filters, and job triggers.
Important: Only Practice Admins can access the Integrations page in Practice settings.
Before you start
Dext matches clients between the two systems using Xero. Each client must be connected individually to Xero in Senta — a practice-level Xero connection in Senta isn't sufficient for matching to work.
In Senta
Before connecting in Dext, enable the integration and generate an API key in Senta.
In Senta, go to Settings > General Settings > Extras and turn on the Dext integration. This adds a Health Score field to each client's Xero tab and creates a Dext integration user in Senta.
Go to Settings > Users > Integrations and generate an API key. Keep this to hand — you'll need it in the next step.

In Dext
Go to Practice settings and select Integrations in the left navigation.
Select the Senta section to expand it.
In the Connection Credentials section, enter your Senta Account URL and Senta API Key.
Select Link To Senta.
After connecting
Once the connection is complete, Dext retrieves your Xero-connected clients from Senta and lists them in the Senta Clients section. Use the filters to see which clients were found in Dext Data Health, which weren't, or view all.
Health Scores for matched clients are sent to Senta immediately and then refreshed every night. If scores don't appear straight away in Senta, wait a moment and refresh the page.
