If you see the message “Unsupported Protocol – ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH”, your browser does not support the required security protocol (TLS 1.2).
To protect customer data, Dext only supports TLS 1.2 and higher. Older browsers that use outdated security protocols cannot connect.
What does this error mean?
This error means your internet browser is too old to securely connect to Dext.
Dext no longer supports TLS 1.1 or earlier security protocols because they are outdated and pose security risks.
How to fix the Unsupported Protocol error
To access Dext, update your internet browser to the latest version.
If you’re unsure which browser you’re using, check your browser settings or search online for “What browser am I using”.
Unsupported browser versions
Dext requires TLS 1.2 or higher. The browser versions below do not support TLS 1.2 and cannot access Dext.

Still seeing the error after updating?
If your browser is up to date but you still see this error:
Restart your browser.
Restart your computer.
Check with your IT team to ensure TLS 1.2 is enabled on your system.
Some corporate networks disable security protocols at system level, even if the browser itself is updated.
