The Exports page shows a log of every export generated from your account, who created it, and when. You can redownload any export for up to 1 month after it was first generated. The Exports page is available for Costs, Sales, and Bank documents.

Find the Exports page

The Exports page is accessible from the left sidebar (above the Submission history).

Exports page in the left sidebar showing the Costs tab with a list of exports, Download buttons, and column headers.

View your export history

The Exports page lists all exports generated from your account. Each export shows:

  • Date generated — the date and time the export was created

  • Name — the filename of the export

  • Format — the file format (CSV or XLSX)

  • CSV format — the CSV template used. For details, go to What CSV export formats are available in Dext?

  • Number of items — the number of items included in the export

  • Exported by — the name of the user who generated the export

Use the tabs at the top of the page to filter by export type: Costs, Sales, Expense claims, or Bank.

Redownload an export

To redownload an export from the Exports page, select Download next to the export you want.

Exports are available to redownload for up to 1 month after they were first generated. After this period, the export is no longer available, and you'll need to generate a new one.

Note: Some exports may show a Failed status instead of a Download button. A failed export wasn't generated successfully and can't be redownloaded. Generate the export again to get the file.
