Guidance is the set of rules and logic Dext AI Assist uses to generate suggestions. You can review how your guidance is performing directly from the Account guidance list in Business settings. Each guidance rule — including Core guidance and Shared guidance items applied to your account — shows counts for suggestions triggered, applied, and dismissed.
Admins can view performance data for all guidance rules. Standard users can view and apply suggestions to their own items but can't manage guidance.
View suggestion counts
To view the suggestion performance for a guidance rule:
Go to Business settings > AI Assist.
In the guidance list, find the Suggestions triggered, Suggestions applied, or Suggestions dismissed column for the rule you want to review.
Select any count to open a preview of the exact items where the guidance was triggered, applied, or dismissed.
Work with affected items
From the item preview, you can:
Open individual documents by selecting View item
See the document type, date, and supplier for each item
Use Advanced search to filter by supplier and date range
