What is Dext U?
Dext U is our official online learning platform. It allows you to build your Dext skills at your own pace, validate your knowledge by completing real actions in the platform, and earn an official certification.
How do I access it?
In Dext, click on the 🎓 icon at the top right of your screen.
On your first visit, an informative window will appear. Click Start certification to begin.
You’ll be redirected to the Dext U learning hub — just allow the connection and you’re in.
How does it work?
Once you're on Dext U, you’ll be offered three structured paths of training:
Each level is made up of short, practical video modules (4 to 16 minutes each). You can:
Follow the recommended order for a smooth learning path,
OR pick and choose the modules that are most relevant to you.
You move at your own pace, and your progress is saved automatically.
What’s in each module?
Each module includes:
A full explanation of the topic covered and why it matters in your day-to-day work,
A clear video tutorial, presented by a Dext expert,
Hands-on actions to complete in Dext to reinforce what you've learned.
🧪 You can complete these tasks using:
Your practice demo account (accessible from the resource panel),
OR a temporary client account you can delete afterward.
How do I track my progress?
As a user
After completing each level, you’ll earn an official badge.
You can track your progress directly from the 🎓 icon in Dext.
Once you’ve completed all three levels, you’ll receive your official Dext Certification (PDF), ready to download and share on LinkedIn.
You can always retrieve it by clicking the 🎓 icon again and selecting “View my certificate.”
As an Admin
If you are a Practice Admin or Client Admin in Dext, you’ll be able to monitor your team's certification progress:
Go to the Team tab in your Practice view.
A new column called Dext Certification will appear next to each user.
You’ll see:
Whether the user has started their training,
What certification level they’ve reached.

Can I watch a module after I've completed the path / certification?
Yes — all modules remain available after completion.
How long does the certification take?
Approximately 3 hours in total for all 3 levels.
Is the certification free?
Yes — it’s included in your Dext subscription.
Is there training available for my clients?
Yes — your clients can access dedicated videos directly from the Dext resource panel, or through this link.
Can I get the badges?
You can download the badges below to use on your website. Just right-click any badge and choose “Save As” to download it.
