If your subscription package with QuickBooks Online gives you class tracking as a feature, you can use that functionality in Dext to assign location, client, and project classes to expense items.

Your class tracking codes will be available to you under the Class and Customer (client) fields in Dext.
Projects are ‘sub customers’ accessible via the Customer field. Select the right sub customer from the drop down list associate it with a given project.
These two fields will be present in both your supplier list and the individual ‘Item Details Pages’ in your Inbox.
To maintain your Classes, simply go to Business Settings > Lists > Classes.
To update the list with the latest classes from your QuickBooks Online account, click the Reload button at the top of the page.
