The three cleanup checks

Each check can be expanded to show a list of matching transactions.

Parent Coded Transactions

Shows transactions coded to parent-level accounts when sub-accounts exist. Updating these improves reporting and keeps your chart of accounts tidy.

Parent coded transactions section expanded, showing a table of transactions with dates, accounts, amounts, and QuickBooks links.

Uncategorised Transactions

Displays transactions posted to the system-created “Uncategorised” account. These likely need to be reviewed and properly coded.

Uncategorised transactions section expanded, showing a table of uncategorised bank transactions with amounts and QuickBooks links.

Transactions Without a Contact

Lists transactions missing a customer or supplier. Filling in this info is key to better AP/AR tracking and reporting.

Transactions without a contact section expanded, showing a table with a single transaction missing a contact and a QuickBooks link.

Why cleanup checks matter

Cleaning up your transactions helps you:

  • Keep financial reports accurate and reliable

  • Make reconciliation smoother

  • Maintain clean and complete records

If any issues appear in the checks, it's best to review and update those transactions.
